Capy Cakes is a collect-a-thon platformer across thirty increasingly demanding levels. Each screen guards a small number of frosted cupcakes. Collect them all and earn your way to your cozy basket — hop in, listen to your capybara make a satisfied sound, and move on to the next one. Getting there is the hard part. The platforming is tight and increasingly unforgiving. Bouncy mushrooms send you soaring — sometimes into a thorn bush. Jabiru storks carry you across gaps if you can time your landing. Collapsing leaves give you just enough time to reconsider your choices. Sandbox fruit explodes on contact. A wind gust will push you somewhere you didn't want to go. Later levels will test your patience, your timing, and your willingness to try one more time. You also have allies.
